Privacy policy

Applies to the KIX work board (board.kapitalnine.com), its booking pages (book.kapitalnine.com) and time sheet (time.kapitalnine.com). Last updated 15 September 2026.

Who this is for

KIX is an internal application operated by Kapital Nine for its own team. Two kinds of people interact with it: Kapital Nine team members who sign in, and people who book a meeting with us through a booking page.

Google account data

A team member may connect a Google account so the board can show that account's calendar. When they do, we request read-only access to the account's calendar events and calendar list, plus the account's email address to label it. We use this data for one purpose: showing the team member's availability on the board and keeping booking pages from offering times that are already taken. Calendars can be marked "busy only", in which case event titles, attendees and details are removed on our server and never shown.

Meetings booked through a booking page are created on a Kapital Nine Workspace calendar. The person booking receives the invitation from Google.

Google data is stored encrypted at rest in a database hosted on Google Cloud, is never sold, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising, and never used to train machine learning models. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Booking a meeting

When you book a time, we store the name, email address, notes and time you submit so the meeting can be created, and so you can cancel it from the link in your invitation. We do not add you to any mailing list.

Removing your data

A team member can disconnect a Google account from the board at any time, which deletes our copy of its credentials, or revoke access from their Google account permissions. To have a booking removed, cancel it from your invitation link or email us.
